Once you finish your research on Syria and refugees, take a look at
this site. Spend the rest of the period reading about a few of the countries for your chosen region. Read all of the sections (especially "Day in the Life") and then take the "Challenge" quiz. See how you perform. No need to document any facts, just poke around and let me know if you want to change your region for the current events assignment. There is still some time to do so.
